I got out of the Army and stayed in Germany for a year during that time I was in charge of a Youth Facility in Kaiserslautern.
Upon returning to the US I enrolled at UMHB and did a VA work program which allowed me to work at the VA Hospital in Temple, TX as a Recreation Therapist.
One of the requirements at UMHB was an Internship in Outdoor Recreation. Since I had worked at the VA Hospital for over a year I was able to move right over to Fort Hood where I was in charge of a 150 acer park along with all water safety programs at the lake. After my intern I continued to work there.
Upon returning to Huntsville, AL I went to work for the YMCA. There I was Director of the Camp on Lake Guntersville, AL and during the winter months all non sport youth activities.
During this time and continuing after leaving the field of Recreation I established activities and programs for churches.
A medium size Aero Space Company in Tullahoma, TN with 3 facilities across the country and Corporate site. Served as the Corporate Security Manager for all 4 locations.
After leaving Micro Craft we opened a Christian Book & Gift Shop. I continued to do some Security Consultant and IT work on the side. After running the Book Store for 4 years I went back to doing Investigations, Security and Safety services. During which time I performed task for Insurance Companies, Investigative Firms, Human Resource Firms, Corporations and served as a Body Guard.
CoreTech was a start up International Company with locations in the US, Africa, China and Europe. I served as the Director of Safety, Security & IT. During which time a complete International protocol was develop for each area. Further area of expertise was developing liaison and terrorist threats with other entities.
Served as contract security during the spill and clean up at the Kingston Steam Plant and at the Bull Run Steam Plant.
After retiring I continued to work by helping home owners and Walk2Campus remodel or restore apartments and homes to stay physically active.
